Real Estate Dreams

Amidst a struggling housing market and high unemployment I decided to follow my dreams and go into real estate investing.  In 2008 I was first introduced to real estate while working as an estimator for an insulation company and going to college.  I quickly found out how much I loved the construction and housing industry.  I moved to New Mexico in 2013 to start a new life and founded my first real estate venture.  Real estate is my dream job and with the support of my family and friends I was able to make it a reality.

One component of my realestate dream is acquiring rentals.  This I began to do in 2013 with the purchase of my first rental property, a house in the southwest valley.  Since then I have acquired several houses in foreclosure, some multifamily fourplexes, and even property in other parts of the country.

Another aspect of my realestate dream is flipping houses.  This includes purchasing distressed houses for cash, fixing them and putting them back on the market in a brand new condition.   This is my favorite because it reminds me of life how we can renovate ourselves, our thinking, our spirit, our soul and become a better person than we were the day before.

The last facet of my real estate dream is new construction.  In 2014 I built and sold my first new construction house which was a challenge and a great learning experience.  Since then my endeavor is to build more new homes in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas.
